Roast Potatoes

Today is National Potato Day!

I may not be having potatoes today but I will be over the weekend, are you?

I have said it before and I will say it again, In my childhood home, you had a field of potatoes for your dinner.  They were boiled, chipped, fried, mashed, roasted, microwaved, in a salad, bubble & sqweek, you name it.

There was no rice, pasta, noodles and couscous was and remains laughable.  So, now I don't make it that much at all.  Every now and then I get a hankering for a "normal Sunday dinner" then I would make mash, but it's for a blue moon.

Then of course I received my new Tefal Actifry, have I mentioned that I am in love with it?  Well, I decided that I was going to try them out in the Actifry and see what happens.

Utter deliciousness.

Firstly the competition is still open for you to win yourself and Actifry

So get onto it, because this could be winging it's way to you.

As we all know, roast potatoes can be very high in Propoints, especially if made the traditional way but with the Actifry, Its just the potatoes, plus 2 Weight Watchers Propoints for the oil.

The seasonings that I used was Marks and Spencer Roast Potato Seasoning.  It's seriously gorgeous.

2 Tbl of this wont cost you anything and it really makes you feel like you have had the best roast potatoes.

So if your looking to make a Sunday roast this weekend, get yourself some of this seasoning and sprinkle away.
