Crumpets, mixed fruit & natural yogurt

Plates from www.redcandy.co.uk
Warm crumpet, layered with fresh raspberries and grapes, topped with fat free natural yogurt and a sprinkling of sweetener.  Breakfast on the go with the Filling & Healthy plan.

This week I have been doing the Filling & Healthy plan on WeightWatchers and I love it.  I had expected it to be difficult because the food would be restricted to certain types.  I have not felt restricted or hungry.  I actually feel much better on the plan.

I also have spent a lot less of my 49 Weeklies Propoints on junk and I can really feel the benefits of it.

I'm quite the bore when it comes to breakfast.  It's always 6 Propoints worth of cereal and slimline milk.  Very little variation.  I decided that I would try the crumpets and see how it goes.  I was expecting to be starving after eating them and for them to be quite bland.  The natural yogurt was not appealing me at all so I was definitely the doubting Thomas on this one.

These are the crumpets that are part of the Filling & Healthy plan.

I usually get these in most of the supermarkets, Dunnes Stores mostly do them.

These are available in Tesco, I haven't tried these one's but I will definitely be picking them up if I see them.

If your not on doing Filling & Healthy, both of these work out at 2 WeightWatchers Propoint per crumpet and I think they are definitely worth it.

These was such an easy breakfast, I just heated the crumpets in the toaster and sweetened the the yogurt with a sprinkling of artificial sweetener and it was delicious.

I was really nervous about the Filling & Healthy days because even after 6 years on WeightWatchers I was still reluctant to trust myself with portion size and actually reading the signals that I was full.

So I decided that I was just going to do and believe that I could tell when I was hungry and full.  I would definitely recommend that you try it.  It's such a brilliant plan.

There are a lot of DIETS out now called clean eating and not eating processed food.  This plan incorporates this.  You are clean eating and your system will definitely know the difference.

If your tempted to try it.  Now is the time.  Just plan your meals and have them ready and you will love it.

  1. Looks delish! I decided to finally give F&H a go a few weeks back after 3.5years on the plan! I agree about how you feel much better on it as the junk intake is reduced dramatically which is great! I am still to try crumpets - is it just specific crumpets that are F&H or...? I'm going to dunnes later (but might be in tesco tomorrow) so want to have a look around and pick some up :) F&H week starting now today for me as junk levels have been very high recently! Enjoy your yummy breakfast :)
