Weightwatchers Friendly Party Platters

Crispy spring rolls, samosas and cocktail sausages, yes their everywhere at this time of year

And I find it extremely difficult to resist the temptation of garlic bread or spring rolls.  

With this in mind I have decided that this post would be about the value, Propoints wise, party platters that's available out there to help us over the festive season.



Ive only managed to look at Dunnes Stores and Superquinn, so as I find out other value buys I will update this post so make sure to keep your eyes peeled. 

I have also decided to go with price value aswel because, well lets face it, Christmas is not cheap.  I will look for the best deals I can find.

The quality of the pictures are not so good because, I was stalking the aisles again trying to get the propoints value and take pictures and im sure that other customers was thinking I was up to something very dodgy. 

Dunnes Stores

These little pancakes work out at 1 Weightwatchers Propoint for 1 and 2 propoints for 2 so these are really good value.

Oooh Duck Spring Rolls yum and these are the same, 1 for 1 propoint and 2 for 2. 

The Chinese selection is the same as above.

This sidewards photo should say the Indian selection.  Now these are the same as above but with the exception that the curry samosa works out at 2 propoints but that's still excellent value.

Another sideways photo of breaded prawns.  Now these are 2 prawns for 1 Propoints.

All of the above comes in small platters of about 20 and at the moment their on sale in the freezen section for E2.00 and then they have full platters of 60 pieces and these are on special for E5.00.  

So if you have a get to gether coming up and money's on the tight side these are really good value both money wise and propoints  wise. 

Superquinn

I do like mini Quiche and these work out at 2 Weightwatchers Propoints.

These little breaded chicken works out at 1 propoint per bite.

This is the Indian Selection and these are 2 propoints per piece.

This prawn selection is 1 Propoint per piece.

These vegetable spring rolls work out at 1 propoint and the sweet chili dip is 2 propoint. 

All of these are also on special in Superquinn and are 2 packs for E8.00.  It is more expensive than Dunnes Stores but they do look delicious. 

All of these little delights are from Aldi and all under E2.00, or the multipacks are E5.00 but their really good value and they look delicious.

Supervalu Range

Supervalue have a great range of party food on sale at the moment.  2 packs for E5.00.  Now the majority of the party food works out pretty much the same as above but they do have 2 different ranges that are gorgeous and really Weightwatchers friendly.

These were delicious and only 2 Propoints   

Absolutely gorgeous and only 1 Propoint.  These are probably the best value, taste and propoints wise, that I have tasted.
