Weightwatchers Garlic Butter

Smother it on whatever you fancy!



Does anyone else feel hard done by when they cant have that garlic bread with their spaghetti or pizza?  I have done but now i make my own and no i really feel like im having proper garlic bread.


Friday in my house it is usually Italian for dinner because its quick and easy and left overs are great for the weekend so today i decided to post my garlic butter because i made garlic bread for lunch, it was slightly burned to be honest but still gorgeous. 



These are also gorgeous topped with cheese and cherry tomatoes and sprinkled with oregano.  I got the bread rolls in Superquinn.  Each roll has a Weightwatchers value of 3 Propoints.

The butter will have the same amount of propoints as you normally would because it's just garlic that's added.



Weightwatchers Propoints per Recipe 2
Serves 8

Ingredients

5 Cloves of garlic peeled
4 Tbl of Flora Proactive Extra Light
1 tsp of Basil

Directions 

In a saucepan,  place the whole garlic gloves and cover with a lid over a medium heat and let them sweat for about 15 minutes or until their really soft.  Remove from the pot and allow to cool.

In a bowl mash the garlic with a fork so that it becomes smooth.  Add the Flora and mash until combined fully.  Sprinkle on the basil and roughly stir with a fork.
