Weightwatchers Puff Pastry Fruit Tarte

Weight watchers Puff Pastry Fruit Tart

Warm Puff Pastry, yes real puff pastry, with baked apples, cinnamon and raspberries tossed in honey with a sprinkling of icing sugar.  Now that's a dessert.  All of this for 4 Weightwatchers Pro Points.

This was delicious, my husband actually said "now that's a Niptuck recipe" with a mouthful of food.

This only takes 25 minutes to both prepare and cook and eat if you live in my house.

Serves 2

Weightwatchers Pro Points per serving 3

Weightwatchers Pro Points per recipe 7

Ingredients

50g of Jusroll Lite Puff Pastry ( i got mine in tescos)

1 Pink Lady Apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced

1/2 a punnet of washed raspberries

1 tsp of honey ( i used Acacia)

1 tsp of cinnamon

Half a tsp of icing sugar

Directions

Pre heat the oven to gm 5

Place the sliced apples and washed raspberries into a bowl, add cinnamon and honey and toss the mixture together.

Divide the 50g sheet of puff pastry into 2 each being roughly a slight bit bigger than a deck of cards, not thickness just length.  Cover a tray with baking parchment and spray with a little spray oil.

Line the middle of the pastry with the apple and raspberries mix

Place in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, you will see the pastry edges rising and puffing out and turning that beautiful golden colour.

Remove from oven, plate up and dust with icing sugar.

Enjoy the Niptuck way so you don't have too!
