Weightwatchers Pepperoni Pizza

Do you miss real Pepperoni in your Pizza?  Not any more

Its a meat feast.  I love pepperoni as a topping.  It just makes a pizza meaty and manly.  I have to say the one thing that i would crave after a beverage or 2 would be a slice of pepperoni pizza.  That has been my biggest longing for the last 5 years.  Now don't get me wrong.  I have had pepperoni but it has been a rare treat and i have usually used up a lot of my weeklies, as in this weeks and next weeks  (oops)

Then the other day in Superquinn, i went to the fridge counter that does have all of the near to sell by date stuff on it.  I actually can't remember but then i spotted this

Yes its pepperoni but there was that little symbol.  Low Fat.  Now, when i see Low Fat, i would be very skeptical, because it does not necessarily mean that its low fat or that it is in any shape of form good for you.

However, when it comes to pepperoni i don't really look at the ingredients because i never usually buy it.  So i decided to give it a quick look and check out the Propoints on my phone.  Each sausage worked out at 3 Weightwatchers Propoints.  They looked quite big.  So off i went to stalk the full fat pepperoni sausage and it was working out at 6 Propoints

This i had to give a go to.  Now what to make with it.  Pizza of course. Now for those of you that are new to the blog, for my bases i use Aldi subterranean Wraps which have a value of 4 Propoints.

2 Aldi Mediteranean Wraps
2 Tbl of Weightwatchers Salad Cream

1/4 of red pepper sliced very thinly

Salt and pepper
Arrowmat seasoning
Spray Oil

Directions

Preheat the oven to gas mark 6.  Mix together the sauces and spread over the 2 wraps.  Sprinkle half of the mushrooms, pepper and ham over the sauced wraps.

Sprinkle the grated cheese over the 2 wraps.  divide the rest of the ingredients over the wraps and season.  Mist with a little spray.  Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 5 minutes and then serve.

Enjoy the Niptuck way, so you don't have too!
